The population is made up of workers, soldiers and the unemployed. To increase the maximum population size, the player must build more Homes.The cost per person progresses linearly as the population progresses.

Convert skins to leather.
Convert ore to metal.
Cure sick workers.
Generate Piety and bury corpses
Not much is known about the stats of troops and Naquatic (the developer of the game) is not willing to reveal any specific information about the troops. These theories may be true but war may not only depend on power of troops.
SoldierSoldiers are the first troop you get access to in the game, The soldier needs Barracks for housing. Soldiers are available when you buy the upgrade Battle Standard. Soldiers cost 10 Leather and 10 Metal, Soldiers are a walking Troop.
ArcherArchers are the second Troop you get access to, it needs Ranges for housing and are unlocked with the upgrade Ranged Combat. The archer cost 20 Herbs and 20 Leather.
KnightKnights are the third Troop you get acces to, it needs Armouries for housing and is unlocked by the Royalty upgrade.
DragonDragons are the very last Troop you get acces to, it needs Caves for housing and is unlocked by The Deep upgrade. You are only allowed to train a maximum of 10 dragons at a time. Dragons cost 200k food and 200k piety
